A shared credential has too much power
OIDC deployment authentication can replace a standing deployment secret where the platform supports it. Permissions, environments and identity lifetimes are tested as part of the scoped work.
DevSecOps & Secure Delivery Pipelines
Make release checks repeatable, deployment access deliberate and exceptions accountable. Give developers a delivery process they can understand and maintain.
No one-size-fits-all price. Scope, deliverables and cost are agreed in writing.
Is this your team?
For software teams that want security in their delivery pipeline without making every release an improvised review.
What changes for you
A scoped CI/CD foundation with security checks, restricted identities, release approvals and a documented recovery path. Tool availability, licences and the assigned specialist’s capability are confirmed before work starts.
Scope first. Useful work next.
DevSecOps consulting puts useful checks where your team already works. Secure CI/CD pipelines connect code review, identity and release decisions, so a fast delivery process has boundaries your engineers can explain. Start with one repository, one pipeline and one deployment target.
Delivery pipeline threat modelling identifies the important entry points and permissions. Agree CI/CD environment separation, release ownership and the checks needed for your stack.
SAST pipeline integration, SCA dependency scanning and secret scanning setup form the agreed baseline. Least-privilege deployment identities and short-lived CI/CD credentials restrict deployment authority where supported.
Security release gates and a deployment approval workflow define blocking, review and exceptions. A secure deployment rollback plan gives the team a documented path when a release needs reversal.
Illustrative use cases. The actual work and acceptance checks are agreed in your proposal.

Security gate exception handling gives an exception an owner and a recorded reason. Your team can distinguish an accepted temporary risk from a forgotten warning.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
Illustrative checks for negotiation. These are not completed test results, new contractual promises or additions to the package. The written proposal defines the actual acceptance criteria.
YOUR NEXT MOVE
Tell us about your organisation, your team and the product or process you want to improve. We will review the fit and follow up with the questions needed to shape a proposal. Scope, deliverables, timing and price are agreed before work begins.
Q&A
No. Automated checks have limitations. We agree gate behaviour, severity thresholds and exception ownership; human review and maintenance remain necessary.
No. Training, a configured repository and verified production experience are different evidence. Tools are offered only when the assigned practitioner has the relevant capability.
SAST versus SCA describes different checks: static application security testing examines code patterns; software composition analysis examines third-party dependencies and known issues. They complement secret scanning and human review; none guarantees detection of every problem.
One repository, one pipeline, one deployment target and up to two environments. The written agreement defines checks, restricted identities, approvals, rollback guidance and acceptance tests. Tool licences and wider migrations are separate.
We agree severity thresholds, what blocks a release and who can approve exceptions. Security gate exception handling records the reason and owner. A passing automated check does not replace review of the actual change.
DAST integration needs a suitable test environment. Container image security scanning and infrastructure-as-code security checks are included only when explicitly agreed and supported by the target environment.
Software bill of materials setup records software components. Build signing and provenance provide agreed evidence about artefacts and their origin. These are separately specified supply-chain controls, rather than automatic features of the entry package.
Your team owns ongoing operation and maintenance. We hand over the configured checks, deployment approval workflow and secure deployment rollback plan, with agreed acceptance evidence. Further support needs its own scope.
